As the hydration partner and sponsor, aboutwater accompanied the Austrian national surf team to the ISA World Surfing Games 2025 in El Salvador – one of the most important international events in surfing. Our water bottles were part of the project and visibly accompanied the team during training, competition and in communications surrounding the event.

This partnership brings together many things that aboutwater stands for: water as a connecting element, sustainable hydration, supporting talent, and the drive to make a difference with attitude and enthusiasm. The project demonstrates how sport, sustainability, international visibility and brand values can be credibly combined.

As part of a project with the Märkischer Abwasser- und Wasserzweckverband MAWV, high-quality Kavodrink premium water bottles were integrated into the daily school routine for 430 pupils at the Ludwig-Witthöft-Oberschule in Wildau, alongside an installed water dispenser. This creates a solution that makes regular drinking easier during the school day while reducing single-use bottles.

Together with MAWV, we implement several similar projects every year and want to inspire even more pupils to embrace mindful and sustainable drinking.

The project shows how health, environmental awareness, education, and everyday infrastructure can be meaningfully combined – right where young people learn and live every day.

Reusable water bottles also play an important role in sport. At the Partille Cup, the world's largest youth handball tournament, our printed sports water bottles were already used – personalised with player names, club logos and sponsor branding. On-site, they could be refilled time and again at water dispensers.

Another example is equipping teams at the 23rd German Indoor Baseball and Softball Championships. Clubs and teams such as the Gauting Indians, MTV Dänischenhagen, and SV Gmunden also demonstrate how personalised reusable bottles meaningfully combine team spirit, recognition and sustainability in sport.

Throughout the year, we support several sports clubs and teams – from children and young people to adults.

At events and trade fairs such as Watercoolers Europe in Lisbon, our solutions prove to be exceptionally practical in everyday use. There, reusable, custom-printed water bottles featuring logos and QR codes were used as practical companions and as a sustainable alternative to single-use bottles, flyers and other promotional materials.

At other formats like the ChangeNOW summit in Paris, such solutions have already proven equally successful.

Another project with strong symbolic value was our support for ANT Arctic Lab / Innovation Yachts. As part of a sustainability-focused sailing project, reusable water bottles from aboutwater were used – as part of an initiative combining environmental awareness, innovation and top-level athletic performance.

Such partnerships demonstrate that sustainable hydration solutions can make an impact even in demanding and high-profile contexts.
